Michel Estades: one of the longest-standing exhibitors

This Toulon native has been exhibiting at the Antibes fair for a very long time. “Back in the days when Jean Gismondi dared to mix contemporary art, painters from Provence, and 18th-century furniture,” he says. The fair has changed a great deal, but Michel Estades’s passion has remained intact. With 30 years of experience as an art dealer, Michel presents here rare works (paintings and lithographs) by Bernard Buffet, alongside sculptures by Marine de Soos with Asian inspiration. Modern and figurative paintings by masters of the 20th century are combined with artists such as Loulé, revealed by this essential gallerist. The fair also opens its marquee to other galleries such as Saltiel, Cortade, Tempera, Casati Arte Contemporaine, Le Floch…
