Bio:

Born in Paris in 1967, Marine de Soos has been a sculptor for nearly 35 years. She has established herself on the contemporary art scene in France and internationally with her bronze works, imbued with humanity, delicacy, and poetry.

Her work is distinguished by the subtle evocation of emotions that emanate from her sculptures, giving them an almost lifelike presence.

Trained alongside American sculptor Jonathan Hirschfeld, she has developed a unique and deeply personal style, drawing inspiration from the African continent—where she spent part of her childhood—as well as from the memories of her many travels in Asia. These influences blend with her imagination and her sensitivity to the fleeting beauty of life’s moments.

She also creates monumental works and undertakes private and institutional commissions.

Since 1999, her work has been exhibited continuously in galleries, at art fairs and biennales, in prestigious venues and exceptional gardens. Her sculptures are held in collections both in France and abroad.

She lives and works in Paris.
