Marine de Soos
Her sources are geographical, ethnographic, and profoundly human.
The sculptor Marine de Soos spent part of her childhood on the African continent and retained in her memory the ancestral gestures of men, the princess-like bearing of women.
Her art invites us to discover Maasai herders, men from Cape Verde, as well as Burmese and Indonesian women whose most beautiful attitudes the artist has frozen in time. This exhibition is skillfully complemented by African images by photographer Benoît Féron.
Galerie Hors-Série, 185 chemin des Cache Vaches, Cysoing.
Until May 21. Information: +33 (0)6 08 42 13 45.
